The Beetle

Here's a satanic symbol frequently found in the fashion world, the music and sports industry, governments, company logos as well as churches and places of worship. It's important to understand its true meaning to avoid any unconscious use or influence

The dung beetle is known for its particular habit of rolling balls of dung larger than its size and depositing them in its burrow. It spends its days digging in piles of dung, making balls of it and rolling them. There are several species, but they all behave in a similar way. Some tunnel under the pile of dung, others cut the dung with their heads, build a nest and then dig into the dung from time to time to have a snack.  Because there's never a single beetle on a pile of dung, they must quickly move with their belongings or risk being attacked; and they will fight violently for their poopy balls.

In order to fight their enemies, they discharge a sting of cantharidin. This substance can cause blisters, swelling or very painful wounds on the skin. Too much of this toxic substance can cause the following symptoms: burning of the mouth, nausea, bleeding of the gastrointestinal tract and kidney dysfunction.

The dung beetle has the particularity of using the sun or the moon as a guide to its movements. As it rolls the ball of poop, the beetle periodically stops, climbs to the top of its prize, looks around to orient itself, descends, and continues pushing the ball of poop. The females lay their eggs inside the balls of dung as it serves as food for the larvae. Once they've been completely consumed, the young beetles emerge from the ground, as if they came out of nowhere.

This sudden appearance caused the ancient Egyptians to believe that beetles were born spontaneously from the burrows. This led them to venerate the beetle as a symbol of reincarnation, immortality, resurrection, and transformation.

For Satanists, the dung beetle is a symbol of Beelzebub, the lord of flies (Satan). Occultists wear it as a source of protection to demonstrate to YAHWEH that they possess absolute power.

In the Bible, the beetle is symbolic of the curse YAHWEH sent upon Pharaoh and his people.

  • Exodus 8:24 "And Jehovah doth so, and the grievous beetle entereth the house of Pharaoh, and the house of his servants, and in all the land of Egypt the land is corrupted from the presence of the beetle.

  • Exodus 8:21 "for, if thou art not sending My people away, lo, I am sending against thee, and against thy servants, and against thy people, and against thy houses, the beetle, and the houses of the Egyptians have been full of the beetle, and also the ground on which they are."
